Framing – Reflection/Discussion Questions for the Morning Offering

This is a great journey to go on with friends! Here are some things you can talk about for the Morning Offering. Or, if you are contemplating this alone, try writing a few answers in a journal.

  1. Why do you want to pray? Where does that desire come from and what does it look like in you?
  2. What are some of your difficult points when it comes to living in a good connection with God? Or, what are the challenges to prayer in your life?
  3. What is your current experience with the morning offering?
  4. How do you think your life could (or does) benefit from doing the morning offering?
  5. What is your 100 year goal? How do you want to spend your life?
  6. Who do you look up to spiritually? What does the best version of yourself look like?
  7. What style of morning offering do you think fits this phase of your life? What morning offerings would you like to try?
  8. What songs point you to living the day well?
  9. What is a morning offering that you have written on your own? Where did it come from? How easy or hard is praying from the heart for you? Why?
  10. How is the 10 day challenge going for you?
When you reflect on your prayer and your life, you are not alone. God sits with your every thought.
